Join our no-cost, no-obligation black walnut collection program open to anyone with access to black walnut trees.

When black walnut collection season is open, we lend burlap bags and nut rollers to program members who gather and drop off raw black walnuts at our site at 590 NY 14, Penn Yan, NY. Our program offers a payout rate of $10 per 100 pounds of raw walnuts or a gift card for our store worth $12.50 per 100 pounds of raw walnuts.

Let others know that you have nuts available to sell or give away by listing them on the Northeast Nutweb.

Black Squirrel Farms does not offer a nut collection service for tree owners. Instead, we provide a way for tree owners to let community members about black walnuts available for collection. The Northeast Nutweb is an online tool that was designed to connect nut growers and consumers across the region! List your nuts or nut products as available to buy or collect.

Learn to prepare your walnuts, butternuts or hickories for storage, sale or planting.
